Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

@Petite Sirène
I want to see the obvious places
...
oh, I think you have so much to offer tourists in France
You said it all ! too many things to see here :)

Any suggestions as to what to see or do or eat off the beaten path are welcome.
It's all a question of time, travel capacity, weather conditions, temperature tolerance, cultural appeal...

If so, which part?

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

I have put all my new decals on Escher-1 and wiped the bugs off the old decals.

It's beautiful!

I have given The International Team a little over 1 year of CPU time. I can't decide between heading straight over to L'Alliance Francophone for an early start, or to landing Escher-1 back down at XtremeSystems HQ for a few days to wrap up a full year there first. What are Puppy and I to do???

Cheers coffee

sad Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

BladeD

...

With the information I have, it would give that (quickly, but it is now an example N ° 2, if you want a more beautiful capture).

I will try to automate the form, but I promise nothing. Already the check box, it would be good.

Nice! cool

So, how do I get this updated? confused sad

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

I hope Paris is the first step of taking a closer look at France, stefada.
I want to see the obvious places – l’Arc de Triomphe
- and the new one in la Defénse, designed by Danish von Spreckelsen,
Pei’s pyramide at the Louvre,
of course the Eiffel Tower,
the Biblioteque Nationale,
Centre Pompidou
Fondation Louis Vuitton (the Frank Gehry structure) to mention a few attractions.
All I can pack into five days I want to see.
Just walking the streets and looking at houses is a treat for me.

Hello Base Camp,

While I am working in Paris every day, I am almost never going to these places. But you're right, by walking 10 minutes in Paris streets, you change easily from a quarter to another one. What I like is that streets are not straight ahead and perpendicular. It's not at all as New York. Moreover, during December, you have some shining lights everywhere.

I prefer landscapes to cities. With my wife and my three children, we especially like a place called Crozon in Brittany. That's really at the end of the continent and we can do bike, hiking, walk fishing, tree climbing,... Here is just a photo.

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

@Sirenita : Paris area, working at La Défense and living in les Yvelines.

@GuL : le problème typique du francilien :) notre fils aîné devait bien avoir 12/13 ans quand on s'est dit "bon sang on les a jamais amenés à la Tout Eiffel !" et donc on s'est forcé à le faire parce que personne au pays (Mexique) pouvait imaginer qu'ils n'y soient jamais allé :) (talking about the kids of course. Like Gu I hardly ever go to Paris)

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

This is how, BladeD:

You hit 'quote' and copy the above
and delete the ones you don't have and add the future ones
- and it allows for line breaks!
[AF>EDLS]GuL, thank you for a beautiful picture. stefada has shown some Brittany pictures earlier from where he grew up.
My trip to Paris will not be until April, so I'll miss the lights. However, I may see light green leaves on some trees smile

Good Morning Base Campers!
Business
None - we have time off!
Enjoy and collect appetite and supplies for our trek to the French speaking countries,
where you can earn nap's pretty badge

I never knew there was a flag to unite French speaking people.
Not to offend anyone, but at first when nap mailed me his draft
I thought it was one of several Google logos blushing
