Good Afternoon Base Campers
Vacation It's official: You have time off. You have been very busy. You have come in larger numbers than expected each time a Trek was launched. Thank you very much - your vacation is well deserved. Culture Music Tonight I combined excercise and music by walking to and fro one of my town's large, old churches to listen to a concert performed by a violinist and an organist. The church room is very well suited for music and you never tire of looking at the rich woodcarved pulpit and altar. This is but a small detail of the altar where you see the devil hand the 30 thaler to Judas in the lower left corner:  Interestingly they played two pieces from "Peer Gynt" by Edvard Grieg. The first one we never listened to here. In the Hall of the Mountain King The second one we had earlier here, but it is so beautiful that a reprise cannot hurt. Besides, what comes across as typical Norwegian, is in fact a Moroccan sunrise. You learn something new every day. Morning The last music the two men played was Johan Strauss, and it was great - the deep notes of the powerful organ made you feel the vibrations of the music from everywhere Die Fledermaus (The Bat) Ouverture Advertising Currently we have open positions for New Base Campers. Good Afternoon Base Campers
Well, we have time off, so there is nothing "work related" going on. Not much else going on either. Nobody comes here now Ghost Plane is on sick leave. Read this one today and found it interesting: "Be kinder than necessary! Everyone you meet is fighting some sort of battle." /♥ - often we forget being in our own battle ... We can have some music, right? For those so inclined, I intend to bring all four installments of Vivaldi's The Four Seasons beginning with Winter On a lighter note here is an off Beatles song Itchycoo Park |

Thank you, TLD.
I like my new dress, too. I would have liked the elk one, also, but the "potato carving" is great. In Idaho they have a Potato Museum - or had - I don't know the status of it now It is/was in Blackfoot. When we tried to visit, it was "out of order" and when we left and went East there was a dust storm. They have big, large potato fields. We have big ones in Denmark, but the Idaho ones are BIG - and so are their storage facilities and their harvesting equipment. Idaho is worth your while, indeed. |

Nope! And I'd like to recommend 16 hour days of listening to recorded romance novels as an alternative for waterboarding.
