You didn't want to be on the receiving end of a "Puff" visit. They could cover an area the size of a football field and not miss 1 square foot of it with bullets.
----------------------------------------![]() There was also a helicopter version of "Puff" that used a CH-47 Chinook. It was known as "Guns-A-GO-GO." ![]() http://www.chinook-helicopter.com/chinook/gunsagogo.html

Yes, Nano, I realize that not all "Puffs" are benign after having read your post.
Thank you for visiting, by the way. This one has been modified to match the desparation of the Vietnam war. Technically, I'm impressed with the way Gatling guns works. As I remember it, it's a rather old invention. Mr. Gatling has pushed the balls on his abacus quite a few times in order to calculate and synchronize the bullets with the propellers. Quite a feat. I take it you have been to Vietnam during what I have seen termed as "The Vietnam Era". Is that true? I was there in 2001 south to north. Maybe barring Americans ![]() I had and still have a hard time understanding how they are able to be so forgiving (exceptions must exist). Also I cry inside when I think of all the Americans who had their souls, minds and bodies mutilated in this lost cause. Nano, you are still irresistable, and I would like to talk some more with you about this, but here is hardly the place for it, or? For Nano to guess - don't look! |

Actually it doesn't fire through the props. No, not this Puff, no he doesn't, I could see that.- I have mixed up Gatling guns in general with the synchronising devices that were invented later on when Gatlings went to the air, sorry. Happened to see a TV program about the synchronising which fascinated me - a little too much, it seems. I believe it was first used during the American civil war. Yes. This alone proves me wrong, because: How much Air Force did they have then?US Army 1969-1971 ![]() More than 55,000 KIA including my best friend from college. ![]() ![]() nano, I would like to talk to you some more, but this is hardly the place - and I don't know how to travel to Crab Nebula ![]() You could travel to Base Camp. You are cordially invited join our Forum and to go with us on our next Trek - meaning: - you have your home team where your loyalties are - you trek with us for a day, a week, two weeks with as much weaponry as you wish - you go home again What do you say? |
