The 11 of us crunching in Idaho have been joined by jan649

Food - and Norway
Our Swedish cook has made lutefisk/lutfisk - a Norwegian dish also eaten in Sweden
- not in Denmark to the best of my knowledge, I'm happy to report
- all respect to Norway, but I think lutefisk is an aquired taste
(which of course has to be tested some day) as is pickled, spiced herring.

The recipe is in here for those courageous enough to try.
Lutfisk/lutefisk
Lutfisk can be bought in Washington state which has a considerable population group of Norwegian descent.
While selling raingear up and down New England's Atlantic Coast, I visited a ship chandler
in Bedford, Massachusett, owned by Norwegians, and when Christmas neared, all they talked about
was the lutefisk they would have shipped over from the Pacific Coast.
Participating in the Facebook groups supporting Norway, again today broutht me a new Facebook friend.
Sally is Iraqi and an accountant with the Danish Embassy in Iraq.

One important reason why we have not heard from our New Base Camper 10_13 yet
is that he/she never got the authorization to post in our Forum. Well, I authorized, but forgot to save.
Embarrassing no end. TLD sensed something was wrong - and corrected it. Thank you, TLD.

Well, I cannot make links. Sometimes the forum is cranky.
Now it can handle big and small writing in colors, but linking is not working properly today.
