Well, we have different types of images that are designed to fit in your forum signature. I take you're looking for something bigger, like a background image or full screen size?

Have a look at http://myonlineteam.org/images/pic/motwel1.png - that's something I'm currently playing around with. It comes out huge in the browser (scroll bars both ways) so I'm trying to cut it down some. Not sure yet if it's in how I created it or exported it.

Can I see the signature banners?

Hm.. The big image looks interesting. Could come out really nice if done correctly. Too bad I don't know half the projects on the bottom. Someone can make some MOT tshirts/sweaters with members on the back. And then Dataman can be a walking talking advertiser. wink

Well, I know it's pretty much time to start a new team thread so I wanted to have some sort of nice graphic image. The MOT Welcome one is something I put together reasonably quickly. I'm obviously missing some small point that keeps me from exporting it at the size I want - something that would fit in the team thread header. I'll sort it out one way or another. wink

As for images for your forum signature, along with your statbox and the Hall of Fame banners, we have country banners:

Oops! A team motto. Well, the threads used to always start with "Don't delay, join MyOnlineTeam today!" so that's probably the closest we've come to a team motto. I started using "Crunching for Cures" in my sig a good while back but I think Team Discovery went with that. As a result of a suggestion from Silver Surfer, we expanded into other projects for multiple reasons. Paul likes to hit a few other projects as we've had a few members do in the past. This would let team members here at WCG crunch for the same team on these other projects. The idea that appealed to me was that, in time, we could cross-pollinate. Someone who joins MOT at another project could learn about our presence at other projects (notably here) and expand/shift their crunching to some of these other projects but "stay" with MOT. The flip side of that is someone here that gets into crunching on multiple projects doesn't have to be on another team at the other projects, which may be less temptation. That's where the other projects on the welcome image come from. The thought is to position us as an international team that crunches to expand our knowledge of us, our world and our place in the universe. Our primary emphasis is on WCG as we believe it offers the best chance for benefits the soonest. With the welcome image, I distilled that to "We crunch for mankind" but I'm open to anyone's ideas or suggestions, including even if you think a motto matters. I try to be open to ideas that others may have that they like that I at least see as "it can't hurt". I don't have a monopoly on wisdom (like that's not obvious with me laughing

) and any one idea could prove to be a real gem! The fact that someone like an idea period gives it merit.

Hope everyone is having a safe long New Years weekend! We are at 50,925,623 points. With less than 75,000 to go in two days, I think we can safely expect to hit 51 million tomorrow. biggrin

Any guesses as to what the final number will be on Monday? I'll say 51,340,000. wink

I checked BOINCstats.com today and see that cknotty, Verhaegh and madambaster appear to have switched to BOINC in the past month. All three are in our active member ranks. Maybe we will see some success with the WCG mailing about the end of UD?
