Re: United States Marine Corps - team USMC

I am a new person on the grid and was looking for a team to join or to start. I am a small business owner in Yuma, AZ and had looked for a small business team.

When I saw the Marine team I decided that I needed to join it as here in Yuma there is a large Marine presence and many of my friends are in the Corp.

I was a "squid" but my father was in the Marines during the First World War.

Take Care,

Wow Yuma huh?

I travel through there a lot. I bet you hear that a lot though. One of the more intriguing places I travel through.( I bet you never hear that.) It seems, for me, there are a lot of outsidesy things to do around there.

I'm sorry, why was I censored?? I don't remember posting any profanity. I'll gladly remove myself from this forum if it is really necessary to censor me for what ever it is you may think I said that was "profane".

You're not allowed to say "dam" with an "n" on the end - silly I know rolling eyes

I can't speak for everyone on the team but I welcome you Dan. I was stationed in Yuma from '80 to '81. Helped build a church there, named an apartment complex and left two children buried in the cemetary so, while I haven't been there in quite a while, I do have some connections with Yuma.

I don't normally cotton to squids but if your dad was a Marine, I'll tolerate you biggrin

Re: United States Marine Corps - team USMC

I almost forgot, in the rush of things, to wish my fellow Marines a Happy Birthday!!! Please forgive my oversight.

Re: United States Marine Corps - team USMC

A Happy 230th birthday to the Marine Corps (November 10) and I hope all are having a happy Veterans Day today.

Hi, I'm a new member. DEPed in 20051022 out of RSS Dupage South (IL). Also applying for the NROTC scholarship Marine option of course. Wish I had shifted my WCG points earlier.

Welcome to the team! As for shifting your points earlier, it's no problem. At least you found us now. Glad to have you.
