Hi Everyone -I want to express my appreciation and thanks to Börni of the WCG team "Rechenkraft net - Germany" who in a forum thread gives a link which will generate a url to dynamically produce a nice display of team and team member statistics with or with out star coded points earned. The url generated can then be shortened to 24 characters, such as those in this post, by using the service at tiny url and then used as a dynamic image in WCG signature blocks. Below are listed the top 15 USMC team members in order of team USMC points contributed as they were ranked on May 25th, 2005. 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 15 Notice as the image is dynamic, the statistics displayed are the latest (current) total WCG statistics and some of the individual positions may have changed since 05/25/05. Again, thanks to Börni for providing the WCG forum this ability to dynamically display current team and team member statistics so easily. Let's keep folding those proteins... .. That's pretty impressive ski. Now for the big question. What do the stars refer to and what is the significance of each color?

Hi leatherneck74-84 -That's pretty impressive ski. Now for the big question. What do the stars refer to and what is the significance of each color? You didn't think a Marine would be smart enough to figure that out on his/her own did you? :P I agree with you, it is impressive, Börni did a real nice job with producing something that many of us have been struggling to display. The image is not only well formatted but presented dynamically with current (most recent) statistics. As for the meaning of the color coded stars, as I understand it, they are a graphic display to represent a cumulative incremental value for each 10,000 points of the total WCG points contributed. Check out the forum thread for the illustrated specific value of each color coded star. 10.000 points: brown star 50.000 points: green star 100.000 points: red star 500.000 points: blue star 1.000.000 points: golden star 5.000.000 points: big green star 10.000.000 points: big red star 50.000.000 points: big blue star 100.000.000 points: big golden star 500.000.000 points: big brown star 1.000.000.000 points: big red and golden star Notice that some colors are repeated but the size of the same color stars is different. ROFL,  now that you mention it, I did give some thought to generating the images without the stars (which is an option) but I decided they added value to the image even if someone don't know what they represent.
