Easynews team is new, they passed us already... in fact they are already #1 overall.

Re: United States Marine Corps - team USMC

ps. I got the heat issues fixed on my Pent. D systems so USMC should see ~5,000 more points per day now. shock

Oh YEAH!? Well, I just dug an old Commodore 64 out of the attic, and it's going to be doing nothing except crunching. I'm gonna try to get a couple more, too. biggrin

Seriously, I have to admit that your team is doing a heck of a job generating points -- still widening the lead on us -- but I'm still hopeful that we can turn that around with enough recruiting. But with the lead you have, it'll probably take us years to catch you. sad

Cheers.

Parris Island?? Which television channel is that on? Is that the one with the really cute chick who always wears the red bandana? I think she's probably gonna get voted off the team because all of the other girls are jealous of her, and most of the guys find her too competitive.

And with regard to my previous post where I said:
... your team is doing a heck of a job generating points -- still widening the lead on us -- but I'm still hopeful that we can turn that around with enough recruiting. But with the lead you have, it'll probably take us years to catch you.
... I just thought I'd bring you an update. In the past week, HomeBrewers has outscored you in points 6 out of 7 days, with an average of 3,135 more points each day. Of course, with the lead you have on us, it will still take us about two and a half years to catch you, ... but if we keep on recruiting -- LOOK OUT! biggrin

Of course, we're WAY ahead of the U.S. Army team, and we're gaining on the US Navy and US Air Force, too.

Cheers.

P.S. The top paragraph was a joke. laughing

Re: United States Marine Corps - team USMC

I know I'm fairly new, but I feel that this team isn't as big as it should be. I'm not sure what to do to expand our numbers though.

Semper fidelis... still crunching... quietly. here's something to liven things up:

http://cylinders.library.ucsb.edu/search.php?...;queryType=@attr+1%3D1016

you can also find original Sousa and the american symphony orchestra material and plenty more (Bill Murray,Ada Jones, Sir Hary Lauder, Stella Mayhew, Henry Burr, Frank Williams etc)
