Re: THE EDWARDIANS - MARCH ON

And now it's good evening again -hope you've all had a good day. It's been quite bright here and things are getting a fraction warmer.

The garden's still sodden though so I can't do my final bit of leaf clearing.

We had a good crowd for the carols last evening which is encouraging in the efforts to get some sense of community.

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - MARCH ON

Good morning everyone.
It was good to see the Carol Singers round the village last night, not so many children there this year though, probably too busy with their playstations.

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - MARCH ON

Morning all!

As one of the hard-working Teddies (unlike you retired lot! wink ) it's a rare treat to drop in hear during the day. The good news is I've now broken up for Christmas holiday. Hurrah!! No more work until the 29th. cool

Although at the moment I am running round in preparation for my annual getaway. Now where did I put my passport, somewhere very safe obviously? confused

No carol singer round here yet.

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - MARCH ON

smile Hello everyone

Talking to my grandson about what he wants for Christmas he rattled off a huge list- W11 playstation, controllers, games, a games mat, some video's etc' etc' and finally asked me what I used to get for Christmas when I was his age?
I replied "an apple and an orange" to which came back the excited reply .........................................
"Wow Grandad a computer and a mobile phone!"

Sigh 'how things have changed'
