At least you're halfway there - and, considering as to how short you've been registered (less than 2 years), you've not done bad at all in achieving Silver applause applause applause applause

You lucky man.
After 21 years of crunching still no badge. crying

Be patient !
After 48 years, finally a bronze-Beta wink
Yves
I was thinking I would never get a badge for beta and now, after 14 years, I have had a bronze badge for some time and I am still stuck at 16 days for beta.

Re: New Beta badges awarded

Get Linux. Just managed to add 4 days to the tally and they're still trickling in at 5-6-7 hours a pop, those CEP2 beta's.

And no insider knowledge, just nano managing, when awake.

Re: New Beta badges awarded

I finally got my Beta badge today! biggrin

It happened after 5 years and 127 days of CPU time and 1 year and 3 months of physical time since enabling Beta testing.

I recently invested in an i7 computer and it has definitely paid off, as it got quite a large number of WUs from the recent CEP2 Beta wave. All of my three computers run on Linux.

Re: New Beta badges awarded

I have just completed a little more than 3.5 years for crunching, going by the standards, it seems I have long way to go before I can get a beta badge.

Just found the CEP2 beta work units, setup BOINC on my i7 box running Linux and wow, I am getting some beta WU first time in last two years probably.
