Re: 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa / Soccer Football Thread

Excelente amigo smile

Y goles hubieron bastantes hoy Thomas Müller (18') | Marcell Jansen (55') | Sami Khedira (81') for Germany
Edinson Cavani (27') | Diego Forlán (50') for Uruguay

Congrats Germany but also big Congrats to Uruguay , they did a very good game all the time and Diego Forlan , es muy muy bueno, is a very very good player , nearly makes another goal in the last minutes smile

On the right hand side from this website

Re: 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa / Soccer Football Thread

Something different just minutes from the start !!

In honor of the World Cup final, a classic Monty Python skit. The scene is the 1972 Munich Olympics. The event is a football/soccer match, pitting German philosophers against Greek philosophers. On the one side, the Germans — Hegel, Nietzsche, Kant, Marx and, um, Franz Beckenbauer. On the other side, Archimedes, Socrates, Plato and the rest of the gang. The referee? Confucius. On May 9, this match was recreated by the The Philosophy Shop a group dedicated to promoting philosophy among primary schoolchildren.

The Telegraph gives you more details. biggrin
