Re: 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa / Soccer Football Thread

smile Fortunately football is a game of two halves. Lets hope the next half is much better.
The Dutch are lucky to still have 11 on the pitch, not that Spain have been much better; with 2/3rds possession Spain have shown little, but are competitive when it comes to kicking people.
A scrappy game, so far. Perhaps Socrates will come on for someone biggrin

- And when two halves are not enough, in football, you can have another two smile
Possession is still 2/3 for Spain, and Holland are still collecting yellow cards! Several good chances for both teams, but no goals yet...

Re: 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa / Soccer Football Thread

Has this match deserved a winner? No.
And like in the last four weeks, we saw a perfect organization, but poor referee decisions today.

Next bigger sport event (already in progress) is the performance show of the world's pharma industry, better known as Tour de France devilish

Re: 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa / Soccer Football Thread

I didi manage to see the game here in Sano Domingo.

I was dissapointed with the non-beautiful and dirty game the Dutch played. There should have been a few more red cards. I do think Spain deserved the win.

Now we have to wait another 4 years for the next round...
