Still no Wu's... (not really resolved, but does'ny matter. Keeping on crunching other projects and keep on smiling. science first)

In a month, I could'nt even get ONE Work Unit for DDDT2

It seems that "fast reliable returners" monopolize them... I'm, I suppose "reliable", but not fast with my two small duos...

Still asking, I hope to get some before the project is finished...

Re: Still no Wu's...

I've got a bronze pending after that last WU distro. I don't see myself as a fast returner, although I do tend to be reliable.

I also didn't gobble up 5,000 work units by making my cash 10 days, which I suspect others are doing, because its taking FOREVER to clear my 'pending validation' cash. A rate of about one page (20 units) a day.

I got the WUs by using a slightly more hands on approach than some may be comfortable with. My cashes are set very low (connect every .25 days and a .25 day cash) and stay there. Normally, DDDT2 is the only projects I'm set to run. But about two or three times a day, I allow HCCC, update my 2 machines and then remove HCCC again. This makes my machine a higher priority when DDDT2 come out, because its the 'only' project i'm running while also keeping my work cashe full

I'm in the same situation as Legrandpiou, but I'm not going to update my profile multiple times daily just to get a wu... :(

Re: Still no Wu's...

The last ones I got 4 days ago. These were 4 very small WUs with less than one hour of CPU time (even for my really slow machine). Still none of them has been validated yet. So I also start to wonder if it's some 10 days cachers who keep the project from going further. Or maybe something's not doing well here: in the same distro I got some units in which my wingman returned errors, and only one of the multiply re-re-sent WUs plus mine were successful - very surprisingly, these two were given a "Too Late" status, though both were sent back immediately.

An alternative would be to remove the other projects when DDDT2 WUs come out. When C-type units are coming out like crazy, it would have the same effect, though slightly delayed. You probably won't get any As or Bs though. They tend to be run through too quick

Re: Still no Wu's...

I'm also yet to receive my first WU.

It looks like this project will be similar to African Climate where very few users got badges, despite an accomodation to relax the normal badge rules.

You´re right. You´re not the only one. This project slowly but surely disappoints me. Not for the common cruncher I guess.

Just one word to those who suck the available jobs: YOU WANT MEDALS, BADGES......JOIN THE ARMY

Darnit, this project really starts to blow ! If this continues, I´ll go back to some more JUST project
