Just hang on for the ride, once you start completing wu, the DCF will start correcting and fix itself

So I aborted aprox 20 hrs of WUs If/when you are sure that everything can really be processed in time simply suspend as many at the bottom of the queue until the emergency status is reset, it will have the same effect as aborting them.![]() I know that seems illogical, as much as all this emergency scheduling business indeed, but we would probably need to be Doctors to find it logical. ![]() |

Last received of batch b_g43 ... about 6.x batches to go, or 7.x if g50 got successfully loaded.

JimBoullier... thanks for the suggestion
----------------------------------------![]() Edit/update: Yup.... that did the trick !!! It seems to now be processing all the WUs that have the "waiting to run" status. Although this whole process to get and crunch DDDT2 WUs has been frustrating, I have learned a LOT about how the BOINC client works, which will be useful in the future. Thanks, CJSL ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by cjslman at Jan 19, 2012 1:16:16 PM] |

There's many a reason why jumping queue happens [all in the RTFM] Where is TFM? I would be glad to RTFM if I knew there was one and where it is. I suspect it might answer a lot of questions. ![]() |

Although this whole process to get and crunch DDDT2 WUs has been frustrating, I have learned a LOT about how the BOINC client works, which will be useful in the future. Thanks, CJSL Unless the developers change the current scheduling mindboglers, the next client will require frequent defibrillator use on micro-managers with caches anywhere near 4 days and above. Unless caching up quick and then return the setting to low, it will be a near permanent state of waiting to run exchanges. Had 24 yesterday, each one being paused with the arrival of the next and the next and the next. Whatever happened to the stopping work fetch rule when all cores run in HP?. Did the old hands, old trick too and set the connect every/cache back to *normal* and the madness immediately stopped the berserk action. No need to suspend tasks in this version unless truly wildly hi buffered up. --//-- |

I have the impression that this rain is nearing its end. The last WU I received in 5 different devices was more than 8 hours ago.
