Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

Obviously, if you do discover that there's some more work to crunch for CEP1, then that'll bring a chance for you to raise that badge level as well biggrin

Yeah CEP, have another look, real close; for sure there is something you might have missed, something that might tip the scales for your present research... biggrin

A real close look. I am literally one result away from a badge on that project.

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

We had a very interesting meeting with a team from Dotmatics today. They have a powerful tool to visualize and access the content of our CEP2 database.
We’ll have a test run sometimes this summer and will see whether this may be the way to go.

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

Dear CEP2 crunchers,
Many of you have asked us to recommend custom project settings for CEP2. So the Harvard team has collected what from our experience of managing about 30 CEP2 hosts (ranging from rather old laptops to powerful workstations) seems to be a set of reasonable tips.
You can download our summary sheet here:

http://cleanenergy.harvard.edu/documents/Tips_Tricks_CEP2_Custom_Settings.pdf

Please note that results will vary for different hardware and users and that these recommendations are not necessarily valid for other projects!
Best wishes and we hope you find these tips useful,
Your Harvard CEP team
P.S.: As always, feedback is greatly appreciated.
