Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

My apologies for a number of aborted tasks today: I experienced significant problems with a dual boot PC.... sad

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

The CEP team will get a new member in the fall: Suleyman Er just received a very highly regarded ‘YES!’-fellowship from the Foundation for Fundamental Research on Matter in the Netherlands and will join us later this year.

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

That sounds like good news, the more folks we can get working on this project, the more a chance of becoming a reality sooner.

I have a quick non related question. While looking through the list of projects, I seen CEP phase 1 still listed as intermittant. Is this project still somewhat active, or is it done and they just didnt move it to the done section yet? Reason I ask is, I am trying to get a bronze at least for every project and that is in there.

Thank you

Aaron

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

Ascholten, it's there basically "just in case" - i.e., they may discover some more work that they'd like to send through the Phase 1, before Phase 2. So, rather than "officially complete" the phase, they've put it into an "intermittent" state so that it'd be easier to push through more work if needed (and, don't forget, if there is any more work, it may not be huge amounts).
