We got a great advertisement for CEP2 on the blog of Nature magazine following Alan's presentation at the Equinox Summit! Awesome!

Here is the link to the online-video of the Equinox Summit panel discussion Alan participated in. It is very informative and well made - you should check it out if you are interested in the future of energy.

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

Here is the video of the 2nd panel discussion Alan participated in at the Equinox Summit – this one is more about concrete research projects and Alan prominently presented CEP!

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

What is your estimate of how much work there is left and how long it might take to complete? Looks like this project has a long way to go. Keep up the good work! :)

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

I am noticing that the work done on the projects as of late is not as much as it used to be. Let me explain. It used to be that for an hours worth of crunching id complete about ten percent. Now it seems that I can do 4 hours of crunching and only do ten percent. Windoze had a fit a while back and gave me a few blue screens, im wondering if something changed in the project or if something got set to 'default' in my bios with the forced 3 finger salute.

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

Aaron,

This is more of a daily project update log from the scientists. Would you therefor plz open a new problem-resolution thread in the CEP2 forum with some message log details. They are found in the stdoutdae.txt file or the message tab of the BOINC Manager. Copy / paste them in your post. Little progress in 4x the time is no good.

I don't know whether anyone noticed, but our facebook research log has now more that 500 followers. Great to hear that people are interested what our research is all about.
