It is getting brisker and brisker here. (30F) smile

Hey Doc. that confrence sounds really cool. Exciting stuff for those that have not yet reached old age. I have been looking for a "Minimum Daily Requirement" on vitamin D. Can't seem to find one. Can you point me to a publication?

Re: smilesmile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 47 smilesmile

Each cruncher decides (knowinly or unknowinly) if they are in it for the credits or in it for other reasons.

IMHO if someone is doing this for points/credits/reconition/whatever they are doing it for the wrong reason. While all the above is nice and makes for good talking points and possibly a little friendly compitition, to me finding cures and bettering mankind trumps anything else.
If this sounds preachy, I apologize..please forgive my pet peeve.

It's not "preachy" if it comes from the heart. The ones who do this at their own expense, which I would guess is a majority here, could surely find other ways to spend their money if that's what they wanted. I do this in memory of my mom, who died of cancer. *climbs down off the soap box*

RT,
Good luck on accepted dailly level! More important the blood level is more important!. In my humble opinion the 70-85 level is best. There is a lecture on line at Texas Pain Society October meeting in Bastrop. Has all the slides on talk. In my experiance has changed the lives of my "sick" patients!
We all crunch for our own reasons! Just great we do!

I intended to just make sure that you understood the points/credit game that is being played by projects and individuals. You would not be the first very intelligent person that got to chasing points and seemingly lost track of the original objectives; I struggled with that myself at one time (not to imply anything about my steadily calcifying grey matter). As I said, my intent was to make sure you and others that read this understand the "credit" games played to lure people one place or another; that is all. My intent is not to indicate anything negative about anyone here; by definition if you are here, you are compassionate and caring and that is all that anyone can ask.

I salute and thank you and everyone else here for being here and doing what they are doing.
Kind Regards.

Re: smilesmile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 47 smilesmile

Would anyone be interested in taking over the "Congratulations" posts? Dave was doing these and I would cover for him when he was in the hospital until he was back up to speed and ready to resume them. He did these to add his own recognition and support for his fellow team members. As Captain, the stats I post recognize the various milestones as folks achieve them. I don't have a problem continuing to post them but think that a fellow team member's posting them would be more in the spirit Dave had in mind.
