Quiet crowd, huh? Well, I've been fighting with my Christmas tree for three days now, trying to 'fluff' and bend the branches to my will. It's been a tough fight, let me tell you. |

yep, the old fogies here are not known to be particularly loquacious. I do all my crunching on an Abacus, so it needs to swap the numeric beads with letters to use the forum. We got an artificial tree several years ago. It's already wired with lights. Just take it out of the box and stand it up, add a few goodies and it's ready. Merry Christmas  |

Brand new, pre-wired, quick-set. The lights work fine... simple to set up. It's the "fluffing" that's giving me problems. |

If I was president one of the first things I would do is outlaw selling unfluffy Christmas trees.
----------------------------------------Next in line would be announcing a winner on TV, after the break. Another TV change would be no weekly test of the alert system, because you could hurt yourself scrambling for the remote to silence the test. I would outlaw squirrels because they eat pears and figs. I have 4 fruit trees, 2 pears and 2 figs. Also make it illegal to make a right turn from the left lane and vice versa. I would use my executive powers to mandate that any smart phone in motion is incapable of texting. I would require truth in advertising, a Subway sandwich has to match the ad and be abundantly stuffed. I would make it a felony for someone to call someone they don't know, with the intent to sell or scam. I would reassign the military to direct all drones and firepower against hackers and virus writers. I would make it a felony for any President to lie in public or on a video. I would make it illegal to end a sale the day before I knew the sale was happening. I would make it illegal to reduce the size of coffee containers to hide price increases. its not quiet its too many medical issues to be able to concentrate on everything else as well.. i get bad weeks or months and im not up to doing anything besides feeding myself and watching tv...
----------------------------------------unfortunately for me the doctors do not know whats wrong with me or have any clue how to fix it.. they just have me "STABLE" and i get to live with that...  |

Until the doctors figure out what's wrong and what to do for you, the only thing I can recommend is to do what Sister Kenny did for her polio patients... treat the individual symptoms. {{{nasher}}} |

unfortunately there is not much they can do for me
----------------------------------------1) 3cm cyst non cancerous not changing in size or shape dead center of the brain 2) tyroid removed due to cancer (and 2 of 4 parathryorids) 3) permanent dry mouth and metallic taste in mouth (radiation therapy side effect) 4) vertigo 24/7 and dizziness (they are different) 5) mental confusion 6) frequent migraines 7) depression and anxiety and various other issues..... so as they say i am stable and i am on 19 different medications and a few supplements and medical marijuana (that has helped the most i think) i have tons of side effects from different medications i have lots of other minor issues and so when i have bad days there is not much that can be done about it any med the change or adjust wrecks havoc with other meds or other symptoms and i deal with 6+ different doctors and you know how well it is getting everything sorted out so when i have good days i try to do everything i can and when i have bad days well... its just try to make sure that do what i can to make it till the next day. |

----------------------------------------I hope this new year is better for you than last year. Modern medicine is good but there is much they don't know. Hopefully, within our lifetime they will find better treatments for cancer patients. This year will be 15 years since they found cancer in both of my kidneys. It is a rough road to travel as cancer can make a comeback at any time. You never know what tomorrow holds. Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some battle.
