Thanks for some excellent contributions.Where did fingerle go? In case you read this, I'll add my regards to that of retsof. You have been a very productive member in the short time you were with us, even accelerating past me. I hope you will return soon but, if not, I wish you well in pastures new, you will be a credit to any team! Cool stats today retsof - I like the colour scheme! We're too quiet for him.Perhaps if he had spoken more to us we might have spoken more to him! I also noticed that, despite all the hints and encouragement, he only chose to join Dimes after he had left us. Lack of long term commitment to the team I think would be a fair comment on his report card.  Sorry about the slight drop yesterday retsof, I've had a WU running for 20 hrs (on my Athlon 64 3500+ with very little else running on it!) that has just finished (710 points) so will catch it all up tonight when new stats hit the boards. We still made nearly 10,000 points for the day. Keep on crunching Vultures. On the subject of Dimes, I have dropped that project off my PC - I found a posting, can't remember where, that explained better how much internet access it uses. The 2GB a month, on average, would have exhausted my download limit in no time - the joys of living so far away from my local exchange!!  |

Didn't know about Dimes until I went to DC Central and started readin the forums there. Still don't know if I'm going to run it for long... Looks more like a novalty project than anything. Overlay Net Traffic on world map... looks kinda cool.

Didn't know about Dimes until I went to DC Central and started readin the forums there. Still don't know if I'm going to run it for long... Looks more like a novalty project than anything. Overlay Net Traffic on world map... looks kinda cool. I'm waiting now to see if my ISP gets ticked with all the pings the Dimes agent sends.I spotted a post somewhere yesterday (trouble with being in a few related forums!) it worked out to be twice my monthly download limit so I've had to abandon it.  My posts were under Dimes project with Team Vulture Central IV since Wed so you probably didn't see them. Doesn't matter which team you are with - the big numbers go in anyway  but nice to see you still visit the Vultures occasionally - space cat coming to terms with the 'big quiet birds'?  The consolation for me is I get to go back past you in team stats  |
