Thats bad luck Dave. Are you considering getting a threadripper also? I'll run the power test for you this afternoon. Yes, my team leader is behaving like a complete c**t (clot). The thought of building a big crunching rig and making it silent is very appealing, but not if the annual running cost is too high.

I have the wattage going at 265-285 but mostly hovering at the 270 mark, currently timing it for an hour and will update this post.

Not too bad really. One hour is up and it used 0.28kwh Thanks DMNI. That's pretty good. I reckon that's about £350/year with my electricity supplier. A lot of performance per watt, that's for sure.

I'm grateful for the heat of my box everyday, my pain gets worse with cold, which is why I wear thermals 9 months of the year. Probably too much info there.

Hey Steve, Come and visit us in Bolivia - we are heading for midsummer (21st December) and every day is over 30C and nights drop to a minimum of around 25C. You would love the climate (in Santa Cruz at leat) and our swimming pool is at around 22C (and rising). Seriously, you and your family would be most welcome.

Rod, that is a very gracious offer and I would really like to take you up on it, but the Mrs said that there are other places she wold like to go to first. If you can wait for a year or 2, I can swing her around.
