Re: Good morning everyone

Morning Team UK

I hope everyone has a merry christmas.

My boy is ill, nothing serious and it should clear up in a few days.
Been busy decorating and setting up new furniture etc.
Bought a new bed and it is so big I have to shout to talk to the wife.

My computer has been off nights because all 3 of us were sleeping in the computer room while decorating and waiting for paint to dry, so my production is way down.

I really want a mechanical keyboard, not used one since 1995, can anyone give me a recommendation? My mb can take a ps2 connection.

Try an IBM Model M type keyboard
Cheers

Re: Good morning everyone

Merry Christmas everyone. Here in Santa Cruz we celebrate Christmas tonight with Christmas 'Diunner' at around 10 pm followed by the usual present opening around midnight. I hope you all have a great day tomorrow, I'll probably be suffering from a hangover (I hope smile)

That is the very keyboard I used to use. I remember throwing hundreds of them in a skip when work had a massive PC upgrade one year.

Ordered a highly rated modern keyboard, should have it by Saturday.

Re: Good morning everyone

Good morning everyone. All hangovers finished? Turkey Curry on the stove for lunch? Dashing out to the shops to change that Christmas present that was too large / small / obscene / gruesome? (Delete as appropriate).
Time to turn up the wick and crunch on into the New Year.
I hope the New Year brings you all lots of joy, good health and plenty of opportunities.

Re: Good morning everyone

Just finished off our turkey with a cranberry and turkey toastie.
Off to M&S latter to exchange the thermal socks I received for the right size.
Got a 1ltr bottle of Orange Truffle Baileys to finish by New Years.
Big huge fire is roasting my chestnuts!

Life is good

If your chestnuts are roasting I think you need to stand a little further away from the fire biggrin

Re: Good morning everyone

No Way! It was really cold in NI yesterday, all 3 of us were curled up on the couch with a roaring fire watching movies all day, I drew the short straw and made dinner, wife maintained the fire, the boy picked the movies. Matilda, Hugo, Shawn the Sheep, Dispicible Me. Not bad choices considering he is a few weeks away from turning 5.
The boy is now hooked on Thunderbirds and Basil Brush, thanks to me.
