Good Morning All. The rainy season has now started with a vengance and the humidity in the last few days has been really high. I managed to unsieze the motor of my lawn tractor but who knows when it will be dry enough to use again.
----------------------------------------Only 5 days to go before Christmas. As we have a socialist government here, all employees are entitled to a year end bonus (payable tomorrow) of 1 month's salary. It's an expensive time with a gardener and a cleaning lady. Personally I think that The Grinch had the right idea!

(waaiiiitttt).......... £7.50 And thats from one of the biggest retailers in the country. I'm not one who usually looks a gift horse in the mouth, but that was more like a slap in the face . Because I am outside the UK tax system, I get no annual rise in my state pension and no Christmas bung. Great really as I paid into the scheme for 41 + years and the cheapskates trim and pinch. At the moment my UK pension pays for the upkeep of my flat which I need to sell urgently (anyone want to move to Solihull?)

Good Morning everyone. Have you all finished your last minute shopping? It will soon be time for me to get out my (5year old) Santa Suit and brave the stifling heat for the 10 minutes or so that I need to wear it.

Morning Team UK
----------------------------------------I hope everyone has a merry christmas. My boy is ill, nothing serious and it should clear up in a few days. Been busy decorating and setting up new furniture etc. Bought a new bed and it is so big I have to shout to talk to the wife. My computer has been off nights because all 3 of us were sleeping in the computer room while decorating and waiting for paint to dry, so my production is way down. I really want a mechanical keyboard, not used one since 1995, can anyone give me a recommendation? My mb can take a ps2 connection. |

Merry Christmas everyone, and congratulations to Bartough and unsmurf for their diamond badges.
----------------------------------------Regarding your mechanical keyboard Steve, I tried a Cherry switch sampler the other day, and the switches vary greatly. I presume it depends largely on what you want to use it for!
