Good morning team.

The performance of my workstation fleet is down a little as a few of them have been reformatted for a OS upgrade to support more memory.

Unfortunately the Autodesk AutoCAD and Navis software is so poorly optimised for multicore systems we have decided to keep the systems for a while longer (most are dual core machines)and increase the memory. Otherwise, these would have all been replaced with hex core HT machines. Come on Autodesk!!!

Two points to note:

  • Whilst the UK team has been clear of SN2S for at least a week, there are still an odd one or two tricking into WCG - 2 yesterday.
  • The team's percentage of cunching devoted to CEP2 has again risen in the last week and continues to rise. Well ahead of the pan WCG average. smile
