Can you point us to the beta test cycle information of sn2s? Tried and tried but find zero, as if it never happened beyond announcing the intend to port this science to android.

Re: FightAIDS@Home - VINA Android Beta Test - March 5, 2014 [ Issues thread ]

Thanks for that. Looks like a few sn2s ran very early in the initial beta and then it switched to fahv. Short for the system requirement page provides misinformation.

As to your comment on errors/invalid. The number stands at 455 valid/invalid for the test, minus the 400 required in quorum 2 it's an assumed at 13.5% invalid. Me/my wingman on 110 results counted in production showed 38%. The errors in production are way way worse too compared to this beta, so shrug, starting to understand that wasting time here is wasting time. SIMAP continues for me 100% valid from the day of launch in February, and on noted 4 cores concurrent. Many a test client updates during the cause i.e. not able to correlate the failures in any way to client versions. Notably exclusively computing on mains.

If programmers could give us real test data it would be much better to judge, but then openness is not written in bold in this place. Hidden agendas abound, minion volunteers no need to know. Add up the ripple paid-for computing and ibm's own and you have more than half the production (60%). To me that translates to pay their own way volunteers are of lesser interest to retain.

Total march 23:779 years
Ripple Labs 418:028:13:20:58
IBM 56:216:21:07:08

This is substantially more than before the ripple era commenced. Even if all non-sponsored volunteers go still a paper growth.

Hi RT

We had just a handful of beta's back on the 6th March

Nothing since

Production is not good at producing Valid results at the moment.. Maybe they have taken my advice and halted it.

I have just tried to download a WCG Android WU and I am having the same lack of WCG WU experience.

lavaflow maybe IBM are busy promoting the better Beta into production praying

7.06 in production and beta being of release 7.16 . See no reason to waste a second on an off chance. To emphasize, my 110 production results on android needed 6.7 copies each to get a valid for the scientists and the 16 beta needed 2.55 copies. 162% better.

Fair is fair, pushed hard enough to get wcg to move per the announcement so will give the updated production release a good workout.

Forward on!

Hey everyone,

We have pushed 7.16 for Android to production. We are still investigating the exit 195, so some member may still see these errors.

Thanks,
