Re: Run dry already?

We already know that future WUs are generated based on completed WUs, so perhaps that isn't fully automatic yet, it failed to run properly, or the system is waiting for everything to complete before sending out the next batch (e.g. they haven't put out many separate batches yet to ensure everything works and underestimated how quickly work would be done).

In any case, this isn't the time to panic. Based on past experience, the techs don't keep a close eye on the grid over the weekend, so it should get fixed (assuming something is broken) early next week.

Re: Run dry already?

same thing happens every time a new project is released... the badge hunters shift to it and run it till they run out of work units... give them a few weeks before the flow will be normalized and everything should be wokring much better .. of corse we will run into dry spots....

I have been retired for so long, I forgot when I worked. Took a long run and finished up at Milkyway. Doing the same at Einstein and should break 100 million credits early next year. However, "she who must be obeyed" told me if I did not stop melting the paint in the server room she would toss me out of the house. But it is my house, I said!!! Needless to say I am running less machines. Better to sleep with a hot woman than a hot server. biggrin laughing biggrin

Last one I got was around 2PM GMT or about 12 hours ago assuming I'm still 4hrs behind.

When I figured that out a server was one that brought you your food or three-fingers of single malt. Seriously, nice to see you again nano. See by your glitter boards you still have the right stuff. Peace my friend. cowboy

Ain't that the truth.

Good to see you're well these days DM. I was able to ring up some outrageous points with the asic miners @ BU and the 7970s on various GPU projects but they're gone now. Don't have the crunching I used to have and am still slowly down sizing. Have to be more frugal in these retirement days.
Take care and be well.
