Re: Run dry already?

Getting nothing since 8:40 (6:40 UTC), but that's only because at that point the cache dipped below the minimum buffer setting.

7888 World Community Grid 10/16/2015 8:40:13 AM No tasks are available for FightAIDS@Home - Phase 2

7891 World Community Grid 10/16/2015 8:40:13 AM No tasks are available for the applications you have selected.
7892 World Community Grid 10/16/2015 8:40:13 AM Project requested delay of 121 seconds

There's 7 FAHB to start still plus 4 CEP2, and the currently running with remaining TTC of 6 hours, i.e. client will visit Rosetta [one of the zero weight projects], in 18 if nothing ameliorates. It's going to be a tense weekend for the 'watchers', not me & co as by noon tomorrow we'll be at 4500 feet AOL (above ocean level]. Weather prediction: Serene :D

I think you just had bad luck. My three Ivy Bridge machines were OK around that time period, and my caches (0.5 + 0.5 day) are at their normal levels. I don't see obvious problems at the moment.

I hope you have a good balloon at 4500 feet.

Re: Run dry already?

Kind of the standard [MO]... allowed fetching again, was over-committed, and wanted 3 core days worth, but client was told to buzz off. No new tasks generated since the last 4 hours off from completed results? :(

Re: Run dry already?

Same here. I had not received any _0's for seven hours then suddenly at 10:11 UTC they started flooding in and filled up my caches.

Re: Run dry already?

Very cool, thanks for the info Uplinger!

Do we have any word on how many generations the scientists want?

At the moment the batches with -ls are set for 40 generations. With each generation for the workunits with -ls, they have different parameter changes. The batches with out -ls have 30 generations and no parameter changes. Even though these are the numbers given to us now, we expect the generations to possibly change with future batches.

Thanks,
-Uplinger
The new flow received were nothing but -ls types... 4million steps drooling

Re: Run dry already?

Something curiously coincidental... the two registered 'dry' cases on the 16th and 20th occurred somewhere after 06:00 UTC. Is the FAHB work generator being run in spurts :?
