Ah earlier you wrote 100 per 30 minutes, without saying this already was quorum 2... 50*2. The plot thickens.

For those that are getting enough workunits to hit diamond (I think 10 yr is the highest I've seen for HST), are you setting HST as the only project to crunch so BOINC is checking for new wu's every 5 mins or so? Or are you just lucky in getting a bunch of HST, but still crunching other projects?

Thanks for astounding me, Keith. At 9600 a day (100 per 30 minutes * Quorum 2 * 48) that's a return time average of under 24 hours. Is there actually new work flowing, given not seeing any since now 54 hours? On April 8th, at 09:42 UTC, 18 batches were created and then indexed by BOINC. Currently only 5 of those batches have been Loaded into boinc, this is where the 50 work units every 30 minutes comes into play. These 18 batches should take about 24 hours to distribute, which means you'll have about 12-18 hours to catch one of these new batches. When a batch is completed, we send it back to the researchers and they then process the results and create new batches based on those results. Once we see a new batch is available for download from the researchers, then we grab that file and create the workunits to be indexed and loaded for BOINC. Thanks, -Uplinger does this mean that this project might be "intermittent" from time to time?! ![]() |

I would be interested to know how big the file is that you send it back to the scientists and how big the file is that you download also how long does it take to transfer? At this stage is there any word/idea on how many benches will be for the project? I have tried searching but have not found an answer. ![]() |

Uplinger Batch 558 was created on the 8th of April 10:36 UTC and now we are at batch 604, so much more than the announced 18 batches, what's very well ![]() Only wondering why I'm only getting HST's on Linux and not on Windows. |

Just this weekend or never? When never, no 32 bit app. All 64bit machines. I had a closer look and saw that since Keith's announcement,I got 10 tasks for 38 Windows threads and 67 (+5 of batch 606) for 14 Linux threads.
