I hope we don't lose too many people from the extended outage. In any case, hope to see everyone on the other side of it...

Mike,
----------------------------------------I picked up ARP1_0034173_098 at 06:21 (UTC) today. This is a twin with a 3 day deadline (not a resend). Also, time_step=24. Odd, as I thought new work was to have stopped by now. Cheers, Mark Edit: to specify time_step. [Edit 1 times, last edit by MJH333 at Feb 15, 2022 8:57:30 AM] |

Mark
24 second time step means a very recently unstuck unit. 3 day twins are priority cases but not extremes. However, units are not listed as extreme until they have successfully completed a generation. This means you are the first to get it after it has been unstuck. Next time it will be listed as extreme. Kevin probably wanted to get this moving while it was still with him. Its 2 predecessors have been identified as unstuck. Mike |

Just picked up a batch of five ARP resends (out of six I could run simultaneously), right as I turned in the last of the extant work units I had still been crunching. I'm wondering how many more I'll see, and I'm kind of expecting most of the remaining work to be ARP. I've struck out on getting any MCM or OPN resends after the Great Shutoff, even after re-enabling the rag-tag fleet of Raspberry Pis and old x86s.
So far: ARP1_0013160_126: filling in for a wingman who aborted it ARP1_0012799_131: another fill-in ARP1_0000167_128: yet again ARP1_0016274_127: as above ARP1_0017505_127: a verification job to resolve two answers, plus one user aborting it |
