The space problem is that Delft haven't installed their new data storage yet. Consequently, Krembil (WCG) are holding a lot of data for them. This has now about filled up their reserve space. So the problem has moved back up the chain.

Sunday Report
No units have been validated this week. Not even a sniff of new work! Assuming that a full generation 182 will be the last, there are still 1,599,403 units still outstanding. Based on the last 5 weeks, my forecast end date is now later in 2027, but, based on this last week, it would be forever!!!! All definitions are unmoved. There are now 403 Extremes and 83 Accelerated units listed. The numbers in their generations are now 3,747 & 2,532. Mike |

This is so sad.
I will have to limit my WCG hours soon due to summer heat. Maybe it is like washing the car makes it rain. Maybe when I limit my processing hours ARP will come back?? Such a great project. It is a shame to see it like this. |

Does anyone remember the total size of the results files that get sent back to WCG? I should have written it down. As I recall there were something like 8 files and the total was 100 MB?

8 files at 14.5MB is what I recall. Why the question?

8 files at 14.5MB is what I recall. Why the question? Not 100% sure but I have a feeling the question has been asked to see how much hard drive space is actually needed to complete the work that Mike is talking about above that will shave approximately 3 months off the completion time when things get going again. Once WCG has sufficient space to store completed work Explanation from Mike on 7th of June as to what is happening The space problem is that Delft haven't installed their new data storage yet. Consequently, Krembil (WCG) are holding a lot of data for them. This has now about filled up their reserve space. So the problem has moved back up the chain. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Speedy51 at Jun 18, 2023 10:15:21 PM] |

Please see my post here of 5 June.
To move up those 3 ultra units by 80 generations to catch up the last of the other extremes I believe would require the equivalent of a USB flash drive, so not much. Mike |
