Since they gave us updates on 8/19 and 8/26, I'm hoping that they will give us an update this friday as well 9/2.
Hopefully to give us an update on the networking issue (is this solved?) , update us on the work on the stats issue, and hopefully acknowledge the validating issue |

Unixchick - I agree
Even a daily, read only thread addressing things that changed from the last report/update would be helpful! Each entry being in that same thread. Possibly with a hyperlink to the subject discussion thread - to minimize the clutter in the announcement thread. Having a non-read only thread might help keep things together. But, from my observations it tends to get cluttered rapidly and above a certain point, people stop reviewing what was said and ask the same questions either in a new thread or in what was supposed to be an information resource thread. |

They do validate eventually after many hours. I had lots of tasks, OPN1, OPNG, and MCM1 in a mix, that was waiting for the validator for hours. The numbers left for the validator to look at is getting smaller hour by hour.
----------------------------------------They were in the OPN1/OPNG category, either "Minimum Quorum: 1 Replication: 1" types, or finished by both wingmen, and in the MCM1 category the usual "_0 / _1" types, with a wingman. I did not have any ARP1 tasks, so I can't say if those also have begun to be validated by now. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Grumpy Swede at Sep 1, 2022 9:01:38 PM] |

I did not have any ARP1 tasks, so I can't say if those also have begun to be validated by now. I've got a small pile of ARP1 WUs in my results right now. Most of them are pending validation; one is valid; one is invalid. So they are being processed, or have been in the past few days. ![]() |

I've only got ARP, and I'm not seeing any changes yet.
https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/contribution/workunit/155156639 Here is one where we both finished Aug 28. I do have more recent ones being validated, but not some of the problem ones. |

Over in the "Validator not running...or something else?" thread in the ARP forum, MJH333 posted about another manifestation of this problem; it tends to point to transitioner issues, for what it's worth...

Good update. I'm getting a steady stream of workunits now with fewer server connection issues, but as you have noted, no statistics are being recorded or displayed at WCG, and the active device list is not current or missing active devices. I assume that these are all separate and connected issues from the server/scheduling issues.

I assume that these are all separate and connected issues from the server/scheduling issues. I do not think the issue about statistics not being updated is related to the scheduler issues discussed above. Stats have not been updated since the system came up again after migration to Kembrill and is an issue that has been flagged many times over the past several months. (Latest I have seen in the rather confusing mish-mash of postings about issues is that this stats reporting issue will be under investigation when the higher priority issues around getting work out and network stable have been addressed.) |

I'm looking for MCM WUs, and I keep getting this:
----------------------------------------03/09/2022 10:03:27 | World Community Grid | No tasks are available for Mapping Cancer Markers 03/09/2022 10:03:27 | World Community Grid | Project requested delay of 121 seconds I appreciate it's a Saturday morning, and folk will be at home. Just thought I'd flag this up. ![]() |

I expect improvement when the servers are up again. ![]() |
