Hi Nivrip, Feckit and Crunch-Buddies,
---------------------------------------- Aahhh, I forgot about the BOINC tweak... or rather, I probably thought they were just updates or something  Yes, I like the whole team thing too, it engenders a good sense of camaraderie I think and that's nice. My only regret is that I didn't start crunching earlier, but I honestly didn't think that the laptop I was using at the time, would handle it. When I eventually began crunching, BOINC had introduced the throttle-back thingy to help prevent overheating, so all was well. It's getting to be quite chilly here, one of the cats is currently trying to roast himself in front of the fire and is snoring loudly .... makes one feel quite sleepy   |

Morning Nivrip, Taffycat & all Other crunchers.
Nivrip i once broke into the top 15k of Crunchers, but am now down in the top 18K instead. But then it's all about being in a team that counts. |

My PC is down for essential fault finding, may need a new CPU fan.
So no crunching for a day or two.  But been loverly weather today. |

Hellooo Feckit, Nivrip and Crunch-Buddies All, Aww sorry to hear that Feckit, bad luck  I hope you will soon be up and running okay again. It was me that was "down" over the past couple of days here, because I had a wisdom tooth removed on Monday afternoon surprisingly, that wasn't too bad, (although I came out of the dentist's looking as if I was storing a turnip in my cheek!!)  Following day a migraine began  which knocked me out until today... but of course, the crunchers still did their stuff, so all was not lost It has been a lovely day here too, with some nice autumn sunshine. |
