I saw a man jump to his death on the Hoover Dam bypass bridge a couple days ago while on vacation here in Vagas/SoCal. Just my luck, never want to see that again as long as I live. What are the odds that I would be there when that happend. I can't get the scene out of my mind.  How sad and awful.  |

I saw a man jump to his death on the Hoover Dam bypass bridge a couple days ago while on vacation here in Vagas/SoCal. Just my luck, never want to see that again as long as I live. What are the odds that I would be there when that happend. I can't get the scene out of my mind. So sorry to hear this. Don't beat yourself up over it. I'll pray for you and him.

---------------------------------------- Some mundane architecture, or should I say rare picture. Kamppi's terminal (200k people a day / on Nordic level one of the most crouded one).... Image taken today 9:48 a.m. Metro is under construction... It does work on eastern part of east-land, but last station still working is few miles to east from Downtown..... I think today was one of those very few days on this life when I was able to walk streets of Helsinki on sunny Saturday and not feeling like Han Solo on asteroid field  [Edit 1 times, last edit by ultimaThule at Jul 21, 2012 10:14:01 AM] |

Woohoo !! 2in(5cm) rain in gauge this morning. Well needed. Yes indeed well needed. Didn't expect the boomers. Woke me up around 3am. Sure got muggy when the sun broke out this afternoon. Looks like a very warm week ahead.
