Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Nice...

I haven't been able to get this working for a few days. It just says "repairs under way". Is it just me?

You just want to make sure you are still beating me on a daily basis crying

I am getting the same error.

You can also go here to see where you are from a BOINC point perspective of total BOINC contribution compared to other team members.

http://boincstats.com/en/stats/15/user/list/0/0/6206

This is different then total WCG contribution, depending on when you switched to BOINC and if you were ever using the WCG agent, prior to BOINC.

This would be where you are in total WCG points contributed to the team

http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTe...nts&teamId=6TZNSBPNP1

For someone that has only been on the team for less than a month, that is a pretty significant contribution. Keep those points coming smile

At the current rate, It looks like we can move up again to 39 in a week.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Lets hope newer projects see the light on GPU crunching and adopt it for their project. Otherwise, going back to 150,000 ppd from over 1 million ppd is going to suck. crying

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

GPU crunching has its place. If an application can be optimized for GPU it is sure the way to go. Unfortunately not all projects are amenable to porting to a GPU application. sad The good news is both cpu's and gpu's are both getting faster.

Cheers

Ha, just like to check our progress once in a while. I'm not out to take the glory. Our daily contribution is becoming very similar now though. Thanks for the links.

I went and bought a 7970 and a 7770 to keep up with you. The 7770 was only $100. I have the 7770 on an AMD 1190 and all 6 CPUs are dedicated to the 6 GPUs. The 7970 is on an I7 2600k and all 8 cpus are dedicated to 8 gpus. The ATI cards are running great. I still have not got app_info to work on my 6 GTX 480s and 3 GTX 295s. If I could, I might catch you!

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Got to love the rivalry. No way I could keep pace with both of you. I'll settle with 1 million plus ppd. You guys keep on crunchin. wink

Hit my record yesterday: 2,340,081 WCG Points!

If I can figure out how to run multiple GPU tasks on my NVIDIA cards I could probably increase it, but I have not had time to play with that.

Whoa! That's some serious crunching. What's your normal points before GPU crunching kicked in?

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Nice numbers, keep 'em coming.

Can't wait for the challenge to start in 3 days. I will be away from home for a few of those challenge days so keeping my fingers crossed that there are no issues.
