Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Holy cow! It went from 20 degrees to -2 degrees in 5 hours. That's fast. The forecast is to drop 8 more degrees. coffee

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Here is solstice today. Sun raises 9:15 and goes down 15:13.
Actually it is hard to say because there has been gray sky for month, there has not really been any difference between night and day on last month.

Still need to work couple of days, but I will escape to north early enough to get Christmas night service on my home town church.
It is something that I really do not want to miss.

Apropoo,

Price of greencard (to USA) seems to come down quite rapidly.
I have been some mailing list (agency that would fill application for me for money) something like decade, and on beginning I get these advertisement were offer was 75 US$ per application. 100 USD$ for couples.
Then it did come down to 50 US$ -> 35 US$ and now latest offer is 19 US$.
On same time €uro has become 70% stronger that US$.

I say, that is some deflation! I say!

For St. Cloud sunrise is 07:54, sunset is 16:35. 8 hours and 42 minutes of sunlight. Looks like we get about 2.5 hours more sunlight at solstice. It arrived at 6:05AM local time. Compared to you we are southerners.

Today is clear and cold. -14F(-25C) this morning, but now has risen to 5F(-15C).

Government policies of near zero interest rate and pumping of cash into economy will cause a loss of value for the dollar for the forseeable future. sad This country has existed on too much debt for too long and now we are all paying the price. Hopefully some lessons have been learned, the same lessons we should have learned from 1929. This will take a long time to get better.

Cheers

I see the lowest rates are quoted for the US dollar. .08%. You are right, that is pretty close to zero.

Joe, it's an invite to race "our" team challenge series.
Hey Sgt Joe, come march to this drum:

[Jim Mckay]
The race of the post of the video of the race.

The Race: The Formula1 Grand Prix held on the streets of Singapore last September.
The Video: Strap-in, CLICK HERE and hang-on for this rem...apore Street Circuit.

And now, the race of the post of the video of the race:

So join us and witness the spectacle that is “truly” yours,

Wow...Singapore has really changed since the last time I was there in '01. Neat video. I used to be a F1 fan, but no more. Too snobbish and political. When half the teams boycotted the USA Indy race that was the day I quit watching (and buying Michelin tires). There is plenty of other "real" racing to watch.
