I just made brown, too. We each do our part, fast or slow, small or large.
----------------------------------------My slower machine returned 10 CEP2 WUs in the first couple days; then CEP2 declared its bandwidth too slow and has refused to send it any more WUs. The tricks posted in another thread to solve that haven't worked for me. So I have one laptop doing CEP2 24/7 and my mini-desktop doing other WCG projects for now.  |

I loaded virutualbox on my Mac Pro and installed a VM of Ubuntu. It is working nicely. Got me to silver in no time. You windows people could do the same thing up until they release the windows version of this project.

Finally got brown. Got off to a late start, and am still only running 4 cores in an Ubuntu VM. I should pick up the pace a little when the Windows client is released.

Wow. Quite a few crunchers got badges while I was out camping.

Totto72 congradulations on Bronze and all others on their CEP-2 badges. I don't do Linux so waiting for July 19 to start "eating". Judson, thanx for promoting my bronze badge during my holiday.... (even, if you made me one year older, than I am...  )In the mean time, I already have achieved my silver badge, and (if everything goes well), I will promote my gold badge over the weekend.  Congraz to all badge hunters for your payoff!!! I also hope, that the CEP2 windows edition will come soon, then I can really improve my output, and race for my sapphire badge... I had only 10 cores to throw at it most of the time, but would have had gold yesterday if not for the pages of PVs. Now I'm down to 4 cores (or less, once windows starts) on it for the duration, as I don't have the bandwidth to spare for it either.
