Re: Where's the Work?

I have two tasks showing as "running" with time elapsed, clocking over as usual, but progress is showing 0.00%. They are not doing anything and haven't been for almost an hour. I have tried suspending then resuming, but made no difference.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Have just checked, and those wu's are still showing 0.00% progress despite showing as running.

I am stopping boinc for now until whatever this is is resolved. Ridiculous.

Re: Where's the Work?

One of my systems is not happy with the workflow:

15365: 14-Nov-2023 12:12:01 (low) [World Community Grid] Reporting 64 completed tasks
15366: 14-Nov-2023 12:12:01 (low) [World Community Grid] Requesting new tasks for CPU and NVIDIA GPU
15367: 14-Nov-2023 12:12:05 (low) [World Community Grid] Scheduler request completed: got 9 new tasks

Currently, I have 28 tasks waiting - not much, with 88 running concurrently. Strangely enough, 2 other systems have nearly their 1000 WU limit waiting.

Re: Where's the Work?

Problem is that f@h only makes sense to run on GPUs from a performance and efficiency perspective. In f@h, any decent GPU from 2016 onward is massively faster and more efficient than the same tier of CPU, so from that perspective it makes little sense to run on a CPU. That's why I've stuck to only using GPUs for crunching there.

For CPU work, U@h has a good amount of WUs available but it's an entirely different type of project (astronomy).

Re: Where's the Work?

Does anyone know when there will be work again?
I've got a little bit now and then, but enough to keep my server busy all the time.
