Re: new project

Well, broke 1million points today - individual stats.

Special thanks goes to olympic of team XtremeSystems. I would have just been fumbling around without your guidance. But with your help, I now have the quad core oc'ed to about 3600mhz and I'm getting more than 3.2gflops per core while the highest core temp is only 60c.

Thanks again for your advice with purchasing components, their assembly and the final tweaking. I hope I can return the favor.

It looks like you're closing in on Easynews and Team 2ch. Good luck. May the road rise with you.

Re: new project

Well, it's been a while, but we're back on track and moving up.

Total Run Time (y:d:h:m:s) (Rank) 21:065:04:32:31 (#414)
Points Generated (Rank) 7,833,652 (#333)
Results Returned (Rank) 27,061 (#341)

No progress on run time but up 2/1 in pts/results.

Go team!!!

Re: new project

What a difference a day (or 2) makes.

Up 4 slots in run time and 4 in points. Don't understand why we haven't moved on results.

Total Run Time (y:d:h:m:s) (Rank) 21:107:12:04:52 (#410)

@Vester

You know, I am not very talkative. blushing
Sometimes there are days or weeks in which I have to retreat totally. (I think this is due to HFA.)

twilyth did most of the posting. But he has gone to another team.

In the meantime my PC farm has changed.
There are three Intel-quads Q6600 @ 2.4 GHz, one Intel-quad Q6700 @ 2.66 GHz and two old AMD XP Dual-Cores @ 2.6 GHz.
In wintertime I add my notebook with a Celeron single-core below 2 GHz.

Additionally I am prepared for GPU projects at WCG with three NVIDIA GTX 295 and two 9800GTX+ graphics cards.

Like in the past, crunching for scientific projects does the heating of my flat even in a cold winter. In the summer I have to turn off most of the PCs.
(BTW: I live at 48°N at the northern edge of the alps.)
