Ah, now I get it. You guys think I'm a war monger. That I like Bush and the war in Iraq. Oh God! Please dont make me puke!
----------------------------------------Online I was known as CoraO'Nasty. Then my slogan was in battle "The last thing you will see, is my blade!" Now, after getting married for political reasons, I'm now CoraO'Seraphin. With the tagline "Dream or nightmare, your choice." My past spans the game over 15 calender years and 100's of year of BattleTech. I pilot a Mech so feared, even my own worry. So powerful, that stratigic elements of the game change.......... BUT THAT IS ONLINE!!!! What you get when you remove the carnage from war, is a group working "Alway beyond expectation". As in battle, only your absolute best equals survival, and ultimate victory. The part you dont get is that I'm at war with disease, here! The problem I find discusting, is if you are an avid cruncher here, you are a problem. As I see few people here like me, working to turn sheep into tigers. |

----------------------------------------Your mech sounds like my fighter-wizard from my AD&D days, when most of my companions didn't fare as well as I did. You can get away with wearing leather armor when you can accurately weld a two handed sword with one hand, although the displacer cloak didn't hurt either. Of course, I preferred my flame-tongue sword to the two handed version. But that was a different life. My turning point from casual to aggressive crunching was the demise of grid.org and discovery of WCG. Again? You left last time thinking zim01 was a sign of weakness. His team is now a top competitor. If the problem is that I'm avid? To me, its part of the job description. The job is called team captain. And if I dont see avid in any of 'my' captian's eyes, I wont follow. As I only follow the finest, as all I will deliver is my best.
----------------------------------------Anyway, I'm working on exactly how to get the team challenge series underway. Have the scripts for the thread and am ready to go! But now must wait until shortly after the Super Bowl to launch it. I am looking for a few teams to join in a Spotlight Pre-season expo though, to fill the time and keep the spirit.
