 As you base campers are about to go trekking mayhap a time to check up on your Navigation skills. Observation is important I liked these signs in town. Not wanting to end up a dead end, a basket case feeling that this town is the Pits .  |

You really cheer up this place, densnaps - or maybe mysteriously you'll soon turn into Wishbone again
Good Trek #28 shall be a reality. More Base Campers than me have shown an interest. It may be a slim one, but it'll be there. The badge will be as attractive as the really rare stamps ... The Trek will begin on Sunday June 5th, so there is still time to ask for info in a PM to little mermaid. Today was a rare absolutely perfect summer day in Denmark. Together with a friend I went to a safari park (giraffes, tigers, rhinos, wildebeests, baboons etc.) beautifully located by the sea and in addition to the animals we were blessed with century old 15 feet high blooming rhodondendrons. A week later, and the flowers would have been brown. Decades ago a film was made about the Danish fairy tale writer Hans Christian Andersen starring Danny Kaye in the title role. All of Denmark was bursting with pride, and no better person could have been chosen for the role. He sang this tribute to our capital: Wonderful, Wonderful Copenhagen - and also gave this touching interpretation of The Ugly Duckling Enough chauvinism for today, so here's something quite different: If You Can't Give Me Love Turning Ugly Ducklings into beautiful swans is fairy tale stuff, but we shall help you be the best you can when you decide to become the Newest Camper in Base Camp |

Wildebeest: I used to find them unattractive, but feel like you now, although they are quite disharmonic with the head-too-big-for-the-body, but they do have something captive about them. |

Good of you to tag along with some chow - we can eat clinic aseptic food without rattler babies, gravel and tumbleweed  - one never knows what Trek #28 brings food-and-drink-wise        And "On the Road Again" is just smack in the eye for setting out on the Trek tomorrow - added to Base Camp 5 playlist |

Good Morning Base Campers
Five of us inclusive of myself have so far committed to do Trek #28 starting tomorrow. In fact that number is already better than I had hoped for everything taken into consideration. Thank you! Those of you who cannot come because of overheating or ethical issues are forgiven, but we should be able to coax just a few more into joining. TLD and I have agreed that a mass e-mail will be shipped off tomorrow making it as easy as clicking twice to join. Of course, you may still PM me for details in the meantime. In the above ^^^^^ post Wishbone promises to tag along with his chuck wagon so we shall not go wanting.
