LOL! I have faith in the few things that deserve it. 1. German engineering (except for vacuum hoses) 2. French cowardice 3. Harvard grads (they might be pretentious little $hit$, but they're generally pretty bright) 4. Brembo brakes (I trust nothing else with my ride) 5. Evolution 6. Devolution Jonathon--I think it is grand to have a young and upcoming cruncher on our team.Thats not afraid to post--Keep up the good work. If Dataman dosent get back in time I will get my Christmas Cruncher earlier.I stopped at Logan on my way to and from Main in October--Iwish i would have had time to walk around. Boston is my home until my tenure is up at Harvard. Then I fear I will have to "go where the money is." But Cambridge and Boston are both beautiful. If you're in town, give me a shout - we can have a beer on campus!

If Dataman dosent get back in time I will get my Christmas Cruncher earlier. Never too early to get it!!  I will watch Keith's daily update and if we fall behind, I will come back early. I calculated that it could happen without me but I think Mushball was still here. Looks to be tighter now.I did some BOINC tweaking a couple of days ago and seem to be getting more points. Added another stick of RAM (funny what you find while rummaging through drawers) to an old machine too and it is doing better. Cheers! |

We now have 3,731,527 points to go to reach our goal. That's an average of 155,480 points per day. FYI, here's the trend on our needed daily average: 12/03 - 155,427 12/04 - 155,684 12/05 - 155,728 12/06 - 155,348 12/07 - 155,480 We obviously want to come in above this each day as that will lower what we need each day to make our goal. We're pretty close to these numbers so that tends to bode well but doesn't leave us much in the way of a cushion. This average will have us reaching our goal on 12/31 so a downturn in points puts that at risk. It's down to the wire and may well be a "photo finish". I think 12/07 was 152,189 which is what concerned me. But we are going to make it.  |

I think 12/07 was 152,189 which is what concerned me. But we are going to make it. Yes, that was our points for the day but my numbers you quoted are what our needed daily average for then thru 12/31 was as of that day to make our goal. If our day's team points go up, that will go down and vice versa. That's a number we want going down! As long as it's a number in close range of what we're doing each day, then we'll probably be okay for making our goal. |
