Going to try to get my first Emerald badge here, and then maybe my 1st Saphire? Can't compete with some of you guys with 8 & 16 core machines, but doing my part I guess....

Jersey: If I make a quick comparison between your profile and mine, then you're certainly your part.
While my badge collection is pretty nice, I have the advantage of crunching about 3 years longer than you. Not to count that your average points per result is about 20% higher and average points per hour is 38% higher than me. Don't worry, you're doing pretty well. Then again, I don't have any 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 core machines... Just a bunch of steampowered antiques. |

Thanks for the words of encourgement guys. Had my best day ever today (around 200 hrs) thanks to a dual core machine that appently had a full cache & comm problems foe a day or two. Now sitting on around 351 days for Rice, so that Emerald should be about 2-3 days away. Then on to Saphire & back to helping on the other important projects as well!

Hoping to get a Sapphire badge but it's looking unlikely now unless folks with no hope of upgrading their badge drift away to other projects.
