Finally, I got my Silver badge which was my goal for NRW. Happy crunching for the last couple of days in this project!

Gah! This is going to be another nail biter, will I get my second sapphire before the project ends? Whatever way I dice it, I hit two years right when the project ends! Hoping that buffering up at the end will get me there.

I wouldn't worry too much. As people reach their targets they'll go off elsewhere to get their badge fixes so there should be fewer crunching towards the end meaning more for you

I thought I saw it said there would be a '30-day warning', but if the last group is supposed to be around R00630_* I'm guesstimating 14 days left, since we've been going through about 5 groups/day and I'm pulling R00563_* WU's right now.

IMO, we're closer to 2 batches completed x day, not 5.
Anyway, I'll take march 20th as the last day.  Currently I'm crunching Rice with all my devices. In about 9 days I can get the emerald badge (I won't try to go for sapphire). |

In about 9 days I can get the emerald badge (I won't try to go for sapphire). I hope you're right about 2/day, or I won't make sapphire... without ramping up the cache in the final days, anyway. But I was only looking back in Messages when I came up with 5/day... looking back at the gz'd logs it looks like 2/day IS closer. |

Bah, I have my preferences set for NRW only but keep getting other stuff so I'm guessing there's not enough work and the fastest crunchers get the stuff that is there... I've only got 1 Rice WU in the last 24 hours on my quad-core machine. Not much chance of getting ruby if the end is closing in this fast.
Judging by Results Status page my family's dual-core is doing Rice only like it's supposed to. Wonder why the quad is left out when the device profile is identical. Oh well. Without a clue, I'll put in a guesstimate of 3/18 as the finishing date :) |
