A student of mine is studying in Santiago this semester! So she has traded 30 F here today (Iowa City, IA) for 30 C there!
----------------------------------------And 30 F is the warmest we're going to see for a while. Snow coming our way tomorrow, then falling temperatures. ![]() |

First songbirds arrived in garden yesterday, Feb 04, 2011. Can't remember having heard or seen them earlier. Certainly they seem to be adapting to their squirming and buzzing food to show ahead of the season, which goes to show they're all in that global conspiracy.
----------------------------------------Weather yesterday and day before, today, tomorrow and day after: ![]() Monday Sunny and mild RealFeel®: 21°C High Temperature: 19°C Low Temperature: 5°C We thought it strange that the heating would not kick in all day.
