... One Million Results. I think that is worth celebrating. ![]() Dittos from Virginia--RT do you remember the homebuilt you sent me?--Well i installed the motherboard in another box-with XP Pro and new memory and its crunching again returning all units between 5-6 hours--this is still a little kick ass machine That is very cool. I am really glad that puppy can still contribute; I bet it is 5-6 years old by now. It always ran a little hot when I had it and since it is so blinking hot here in the summer, I try to keep the # of machines to a minimum. They add heat to the house and then I have to use more electricity to cool the house; a sort of double-whammy on the electric bill/carbon footprint. Though all my power comes from a Nuclear power plant it produces electricity that displaces electricity that natural gas and coal fired plants would provide. As a side note, it looks as if they are going to double the capacity of the plant over the next decade by adding 2 more reactors. Anyway, it is good to know that you gave it a good home and that you a) care enough to refresh it and keep it going and b) take the time to let me know. This has been quite a productive week for me in my dealings with the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center.
My prosthesis has not fit my leg for nearly a year now since my edema ran away on me and lead me to my hospitalization late last spring. Additionally, the brace I wear on my other leg has some padding that wore away causing it to cut my leg before I made my own repairs to it. Monday, I met with a team at the VA and they approved replacement of both. This will be done by an orthopedic company with offices about a mile from me. Additionally, I had complained to the VA about quality problems with the power chair they gave me last July. I have had three major service calls on it which resulted in replacement of electronic modules in it twice and replacement of one of the electric motors that propel it! The VA has decided to provide me with a new chair! It is heavier duty and, I hope, built of better quality components. I figure this week cost the VA close to $12 thousand to provide for my care. |

Seems they pass laws to help fight the terrorists and then the idiots in law enforcement figure out ways to use the same laws to fight us! |

Thanks Old Friend Edit=>How bout a round of Laphroaig when we hit a million results? Bottles: 234 Reviews: 420 Laphroaig 30 Year Old 95 Laphroaig 30 Year Old Distillery: Laphroaig Style: Single Malt Release: Unspecified Age: 30 Years Alcohol: 43% abv. Region: Scotland: Islay Bottled For: Distillery The aroma, on pouring the 30 year old, gives an initial burst of sherry, the full profound depth and roundness of sweet fruit then becomes apparent followed by a tantalizing hint of Islay peat. Sounds like a plan |
