there is probably over 40 days left before work stops as well as at least a week or 2 of cleanup work units out there so make sure your only running this project and you should be able to make it... of corse lots of different things could happen between now and then that would change the end time.

I'm on a sapphire run and I estimate I'll need 35-40 calendar days. Each morning I'm recording the latest parent batch that's mentioned here or that I've downloaded. The overall trend is around 4.1 to 4.2 batches per day, and even the greater variability that we've seen since late December doesn't push that higher than 4.5. If (big if) the underlying behaviour of crunchers, batches and the feeder queue remains the same, then parent batches may come to an end around your 40 day mark. After that, there are still child/grandchild etc. batches and repair jobs. Currently, child/grandchild batches appear from WUs up to around 14 days previously, but that could shorten dramatically once there are no parent batches in the queue. SekeRob's dashboard guesstimate today of 44 days tasks left seems spot on. Overall, you look ok for your sapphire, but only just! |

46 days left and holding at 30 [or skipping forward to 30 if techs give the formal alert]... we make it up as we go :D Yes and thanks for keeping the dashboard going Sek... it keeps things interesting. ![]() ![]() |

Today is proving to be another speeding parents day - batch 2298 has been appearing since 4pm GMT, whereas it was 2291 around 2am. Only 169 batches to go!

Decided to come back and crunch a few more HCMD2 WUs to make it to 100 days (nice round number

Welcome back, CJSL! It looks as if the sprint of parent batches up to 2299 ended soon after my previous post, and that we're now into batches of children & grandchildren again. Was your 2298 parent a repair job, or was it downloaded before about 18:00 GMT yesterday?

Hi everyone..I sorta need some suggestions. Before the new year, I just had hopes of ruby in all the projects as I was crunching 3 days per calendar day. I was lucky to add some devices to bring it up to 10 crunch per day and now I have visions of green across the board.
I am at 198 days on HCMD and 233 on HCC. Also 98 on HFCC. Having just joined last April, I have never been on the end of a project. Should I sprint on one project to the one year mark, and then switch, or should I go for maybe a week on one and switch to let the PV's catch up? I figure each saved crunch day important as the super power crunchers switch from HCMD and HCC to HFCC, which even now is picking up speed to completion. I am confident of green on HCMD and HCC, but not so much HFCC. Any suggestions on how to play the green trifecta out? I never knew a slow motion drag race(as I believe nasher called it) could be so interesting and suspenseful on incredibly worthwhile projects. |

I reached my goal for HCMD2 and have opted out. Hopefully others can reach theirs also before the project ends.
