yes server side distribution will probably have a much greater effect... i am just hoping there is enough for for my badge. the thing that has the most effect is actually the scientists... as some projects have finished the scientists wish a small section re checked or the like... with daughters and granddaughters and such here it is alot more unpredictable as well... also we normally see be trickles of work for about 2 weeks after the last new work unit is sent from non responsive computers to people getting there last badge and aborting the rest of the units.

Sekerob's chart is nice but it ie always a best guess.... the only thing we know for sure is HCC and HCMD2 are both probably ending February or March

Yup, that's the only assurance you get and until then you wont see the *best guess* ;>) on the dashboard *drop* below 30 [which is also in the code... orange rim for <=60 days left, red rim for <=30 days left, red background < 10 days left :O]
