That Sea Ice at the North Pole is "disappearing" rapidly wink

They are putting it in bags and selling it at your local 7/11 or fast food mart wink

Yes we have shut down our country. Made heating too expensive to have and travel too expensive to make. We have destroyed our tourism industry and shipped our manufacturing abroad. Soon our lights will go out and the benefit afforded by a reliable electricity supply will evaporate

Meanwhile the Climate takes not one bit of notice of our truly awesome achievement... The taking of the Great out of Britain

When in the Course of human events....

Gerald my nation is sleepwalking into this blissfully unaware.

Only when the lights go off in 2015 will it finally be taken onboard what has been done to us in the name of Climate Change.

It won't be long now

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

I'm as left or right wing as you want to paint me biggrin

All I know is this

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/ne...by-bill-hike-8227797.html

..and you already know how many times the price has increased in recent years

We have 200+ years of coal resources and an untapped Morecambe Bay with vast reserves of gas. We are surrounded by sea for wave power, its definitely windy enough to produce power and solar cells are as cheap as chips, in reality. The Severn Barrage could supply 5% of the Country's needs alone, if only they would build it.

As a nation we probably couldn't be more effectively supplied with energy resources

But for reasons bordering on insanity the lights will go off... and soon.

The first daily average below 10C (on the way back down into the NH Winter - where most of the Land is)

24 hours earlier than last year

The Sandy Super Storm and a cold northerly blast over Europe are taking their toll on Global Temperatures

Another non-hurricane on the way

http://w1.weather.gov/obhistory/KACY.html

Note: I am not saying it isn't windy and it isn't a good downpour

Just overblown as is the way these days

I'll keep an eye out for wind speeds exceeding 74 MPH 64Knots 119 km/h or > 33m/s and then it'll be a hurricane.

Atlantic City current peak so far today 38mph
