DDDT2 Project Recognition Thread

Okay, who'll be first to Bronze, Silver, Gold, Ruby, Emerald and (currently) Sapphire???? biggrin

It may take a little longer than normal - due to the very long Type A jobs, along with quorum 2 cool

... and overall delay in spawning the bulk of the work... C types. See post of uplinger for that. There's initially [only] 1,000 WU going out!

Re: DDDT2 Project Recognition Thread

I hope the memory projects for this project are not an indicator of coming attractions, with 9 machines not one is able to run dddt-2. The future looks bleak for the little guy and WCG.

Now back to crunching, till i can crunch no more..........

Rice is gonna be done first Therfore I suggest leaving both Rice and Dengue on, (I'm in exactly the same boat)

Re: DDDT2 Project Recognition Thread

That's what can happen... the more power is available the more resolution the scientists seek to use and they really are now seeking to narrow it down to a few compounds, and fast.

Bleak, well now, the previous last project is just using 7Mb and has years to run, so there's something for any small size PC.

Re: DDDT2 Project Recognition Thread

At 39 hours per thread of my I7 that's 8.61 computer days so a little over a day to finish (waiting on verification or me playing games) should be Friday afternoon GMT.
I'm starting the Q6600 on it but dont hold out much hope of them trickling in until the early morning of saturday (late afternoon GMT)

Re: DDDT2 Project Recognition Thread

Since I don't have a chance of getting "A" types, and probably not "B" types either, there's nothing to do but wait for the "C" type work units. Ah well, I'll see when and if I join Club16 with DDDT2. Patience is the key word here I guess.

rembertw, although thankfully I can get/process the Type A's (and B's), hopefully it won't actually take me that long to get a Gold badge with my single dual-core machine - after which, I'll be pulling out of this project so as to give others a chance. Basically, Gold for me, is the only realistic goal I can aim for - so there should be plenty of work left for you to get your badge.
