Re: MyOnlineTeam Welcomes New Members

Hi Esteban69 I've updated your country flag and Germany is now the 22nd Country represented on good old MOT.

I thought I'd find out how many countries there are in the world and being the crazy mixed up place that it is there's not even a consensus on that smile

Most sites on the Internet seem to believe there are 193 but this is open to debate. So we have at least 10% or thereabouts of the world's countries respresented.

Anyone care to be your countries ambassador amongst our Worldwide Crew?

---

Graham you really do have way too much time on your hands wink - but that is cool, thanks.

We're in the middle of a heat wave here in the UK while in the north of the country large area's of Yorkshire have been devastated by Flash Floods!!

My wife has just had me building Fans that she has bought to cool us all down as it's 31 degrees C in the midday sun. Now I'll really need those earplugs smile

Any predictions on tonights update?

That American F1 Grand Prix

What a farce

I normally record the Grand Prix and then fast forward past all the usual blah blah and press the play button just as they get half way round the parade lap. OK OK I've got Sky+ (Like Tivo) It's also handy for the boring bits between the Pit Stops and Crashes (6x speed is a marriage saver) 30x through the ad breaks wink

This time not being aware of the pre race build up. I get ready for them all to line up and then......

Just 6 cars on the Grid. I couldn't make head nor tail of it. For the first time the blah blah blah was more interesting than the race.

A tyre maker that can't make tyres (tires wink ) that can go round corners without going pop. You couldn't make this stuff up. 500 Laps in the Indy 500 and yet the most they could guarantee around half the banked track in F1 was 15 laps.

Still Schumacher couldn't let Barrichello get ahead of him without barging him of the track.

Esteban69 you've outed me as a big F1 fan. Somehow I don't think there will be many left in America sad

Totally bizarre

Re: MyOnlineTeam Welcomes Our Latest Member

Stefan --

Unfortunately my travels haven't found me in the northern part of Germany. I am surprised that I never did go up that way though. The friend I mentioned that lives in Kempen (http://www.kempen.de/ -- there is a nice webcam view of the marketplace from the rathaus on their web site) is originally from Oldenburg (http://www.oldenburg.de/ ). He recently went through heart rehabilitation at Gollwitzer-Meier-Klinik (http://www.gollwitzer-meier-klinik.de/ ) in Bad Oeynhausen (http://www.badoeynhausen.de/ ). I also enjoyed looking at the Kiel web site (http://www.kiel.de/ ).

For any of my other team mates, in very typical German fashion, almost every town in Germany has a web site. All you need to do is go to www.nameoftown.de to find it.
